Peter Haydon Sensei

based in the Teeside Area

Wednesday evenings: training times: Aiki Kids – 6.30 – 7.20pm

Seniors –7.30 – 9.00pm

Shikan Aikido is based in the Teeside. Shikan is a Zen word which has many
meanings amongst them is “wholehearted”, so the aim is to promote the idea
of living life in a wholehearted way whether on or off the mat.

At Shikan
Aikido we teach a style of Aikido which incorporates traditional Aikido,
Mushin Aikido and aspects of Aiki-jutsu.

We train in a friendly, relaxed
atmosphere at a pace to suit the individual. Aikido training is about more
than technique; it’s about observing your partners mind and body, thus
cultivating a heightened state of awareness.

Wednesday evenings are our training nights: Aiki Kids starts at 6.30 till 7.20pm, then Seniors from 7.30 – 9.00pm under the instruction of Sensei Peter Haydon.
